Chemical Packaging
ETIMA+ machines are designed to work with a wide variety of formats and sizes suitable for the chemical sector. We can fully adapt them to the needs of your project, focusing on the safety, efficiency, and versatility that our labelling machines guarantee.

Frequently asked questions
The CLP Regulation (EC) 1272/2008. It requires the container of a hazardous product to carry GHS pictograms, a signal word, hazard statements and precautionary statements. And the label must remain legible and firmly attached throughout the life of the container, including any time spent outdoors.
The CLP has recently been revised with regard to label format and digital labelling, so it is worth checking the version in force when designing the label.
Product and supplier identifiers, nominal quantity, hazard pictograms, the signal word (Danger or Warning), hazard statements (H statements) and precautionary statements (P statements).
The CLP also sets minimum label and font sizes according to the capacity of the container. That requirement has a direct impact on the machine, because it sets the minimum area that must be applied cleanly.
Nine, all with the same shape: a diamond with a red border, white background and black symbol. Explosive, flammable, oxidising, gas under pressure, corrosive, acute toxicity, health hazard, serious health hazard and hazardous to the environment. They must be easy to see and read on the container, and that can be verified in-line.
It has to withstand contact with the product itself, solvents, abrasion during transport and, if the container is stored outdoors, sun and moisture. Standard paper is not up to it. Synthetic materials and specific adhesives are used instead.
That material behaves differently on the machine: it changes the stiffness of the web, the unwinding tension and the peel-off force at the dispensing edge. That is why we always ask for the real reel for testing.
Our solutions are designed to label a wide variety of formats used in the chemical sector, from small laboratory containers to high-capacity vessels for industrial products.
We can work with bottles, drums, jerrycans, flasks, and cylindrical, oval, rectangular or complex-shaped containers, adapting the labelling system to the characteristics of each product. Our experience in this sector allows us to take on projects with different sizes, materials and positioning requirements, always guaranteeing accurate and reliable application.
The versatility of the equipment covers both standard production and special formats, offering a solution tailored to the specific needs of each manufacturer.
Yes. Filled, heavy containers can be labelled without difficulty, provided that the conveying and handling system is properly sized for the application.
In this type of project, the challenge is not usually the labelling itself, but ensuring the container moves steadily throughout the process. To achieve this, guiding, holding and conveying systems adapted to the weight, dimensions and geometry of the container are used, ensuring that the label is applied with maximum accuracy.
Our solutions can handle filled containers of different capacities and weights, from small vessels to jerrycans and industrial drums, while maintaining application quality and process reliability.
