What determines the approach is the type of labelling: self-adhesive, hot melt, cold glue or mixed. From there, the shape of the container, the orientation required and the production speed determine the most suitable machine model for each project. For medium production rates in consumer goods, the references are Etima SATURN and Auxiemba ETIFLEX, two very versatile ranges.
Yes. Rotary machines support all these combinations: the more labels the container carries, the more labelling stations the machine includes.
The number of stations and the production speed, among other factors, are what determine the diameter of the carousel.
A great deal. A bottle coming out of cold storage arrives with condensation, and the adhesive does not grip on that moisture: the label comes off later. The solution is to dry the container beforehand or to use adhesives specifically designed for wet surfaces. It is always worth checking, especially with glass containers.
