Frequently asked questions

An ampoule is difficult for three reasons at once. The glass is thin-walled and breaks easily. The body is short and the neck tapered, so very little usable surface remains. And there is no wide base to provide stability. The holding system has to rest on the cylindrical part without touching the constriction of the neck.

Wrapped around the cylindrical body, which is the only part with a regular geometry. Space is limited, which forces small font sizes and sometimes means leaving off the primary container anything that is not strictly mandatory.

By limiting holding pressure, preventing ampoules from knocking against each other on the conveyor and smoothing the acceleration of the rotation unit. When the breakage rate shoots up, it is almost never the label: it is usually excessive pressure or misaligned guiding.

Yes. Presence, position and overlap are checked, and anything out of specification is rejected. The margin here is tighter than on a vial, because any deviation covers mandatory information or the neck’s break point.
