Frequently asked questions

A BFS strip requires specific handling because it is a light, flexible container. To guarantee accurate label placement, guiding, stabilisation and application pressure must be controlled, aspects that are not usually critical with conventional rigid bottles or containers.

The label is placed on the flat, rectangular surface of the single dose, making use of the largest available area to ensure correct product identification and good legibility of the printed information.

Flexible containers can be labelled without difficulty as long as they are properly guided and supported during application. The aim is to stabilise the product without deforming it, by controlling labelling pressure and using adapted change parts when the format requires it.

Yes. The strip can be labelled directly after the BFS process, provided the container has reached a suitable temperature and remains dimensionally stable. With correct handling and line synchronisation, labelling can be fully automatic, with accurate application and good legibility of variable data.
